Inspirational Poems for Women

Here's a collection of beautiful inspirational poems especially handpicked for women.

May these sometimes inspiring, sometimes poignant, sometimes funny, sometimes touching poems soothe and comfort you.

May these poems move you in ways that stir your heart and make you feel alive.

As saying goes, "Live, Laugh, Love".

Here's one of my favorite poems...

Mind is the master power that molds and makes,
And we are Mind, and evermore we take
The tool of thought, and shaping what we will,
Bring forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills,
We think in secret, and it comes to pass -
Our world is but our looking glass.
-- James Allen

This short and inspiring poem contains a world of wisdom within its few short sentences. It serves as a powerful reminder or idea that we are what our thoughts made of. What we consistently and persist in thinking, be it good or bad, sooner or later our thoughts will manifest into reality.

It's a wake-up call for me to learn to watch my own thinking instead of letting aimlessness always taking over. By redirecting my negative thoughts to more pleasant thoughts, I would usually experience quite a quick shift in my emotions too. I hope that this poem would encourage you in cultivating courageous, good and beautiful thoughts, just as it inspires me.

I've handpicked a collection of poems that I feel are inspiring, uplifting or simply evoke a certain emotion. That's the power of a poem, to strike a chord with us, to make us feel something...

Besides modern poems, some of these poems were written by poets more than a hundred years or several decades ago, so they do contain the somewhat old-fashioned language of using the masculine gender to represent all people. But because I feel that these poems are so inspiring and speak so eloquently, that I've decided to include them in my collection anyway. Luckily for us women, we are used to reading ourselves back in. :)

Meanwhile, take your time to slowly savor the goodness and treasures within these poems. Enjoy!
